Hi folks:
I've been lurking for a while. but not contributing. The ham thread brings
me out. My sweet wife has had her ham ticket for 25 years, but no station
for a long time. I want to get my license and we both are enthused about
getting back into a sailboat and doing some serious cruising. It seems like
a ham rig is valuable on a cruiser, but I am curious about what level of
licensure is necessary, and what bands are commonly used by cruisers.
I love this group.
Thanks, Sam Moore
