    It’s good to hear your outlook on fiberglass, after going Trans-Atlantic in
    several fiberglass boats and also crossing with a gaff rigged wood boat. I
    have not yet done a crossing in steel. (Other then ships) Just because I
    would not own a steel boat doesn’t mean that I would say it’s a terrible
    materiel to use. It’s just not the right choice for me. Keep an open mind
    and don’t confuse your opinion with fact. The fact is that there are many
    materials and building methods that are suitable for cruising.
