    Hi Tim,
Europe, UK, Med, and ost places with a hard attachment point ! :-
) .. also, even in a small anchorage, there are folks who want to
moor alongside (swinging).. that you may, or may not want... it's
    fairly generic,...

If you aint rafted sir !, you aint lived lol...

Get to St Mary's Isles of Scilly soon - in the summer.. and find a
berth by the quay for victualing.. you wil be rafted to in seconds !

It's one of theose few places where dreams are made.. so you either
put up with the inconvenience or miss it...

I can honestly say that the Isles of Scilly (UK) are a real top of
the list cruise goal.. a once in a lifetime area... I was raised
there, so am bias :-) ... Yachties are still fairly rare and well
respected - a rarity in busy area - although St marys could never be
    classed as busy ! :-)

Scenery to die for... Diving to rival the best ever.. History in
volumes and volumes... culture second to none and a plethora of
public houses and s#!t houses... :-) .. what more could a man
want ??.. there are even showers... (development rolls on !)....

You can get the best ever Cornish Pasty, the 'Scillonian' Gig races
on a Friday, and often a moonlit return from St' Agnes, and it's one
    bar !...

If I was to Cruise one area of the UK that had it all, the Isles of
Scilly would be a fair contender.. ps - we will be sailing there in
a few weeks.. gotta pay a surprise visit to my Mom..... :-) .. then
sample the local delicacies and beverages...

    But, I digress :-) ... perhaps I will call my Nurse ???. :-)

    Joe
