Hello Robert (and hello from Jayne too ! )
Thanks for the info Sir. I thought it would be difficult.. but... we
have allowed for an 'all new wardrobe' in the budget, so tan it will
be.. keep some of the ol' whities for back up.. darn !, another
berth gone ! :-)...
Gotta confess that I DO love reading.. I am really looking forward
to swapping books :-)... it must be great to hae a conservative
library and then choose to swap.. good fun !.
I was trying to think of more books in the library, and the ones
that come to mind. I can add a few more (but I do apologise, I am
still chuckling from 'Sod's law'.. started reading it in Majorca
(Polenza bay) and then had a 9 month gap, started again when I found
a copy on Ebay for a couple of quid...
Anyways :-)
t'other books I can recall are ....
The Bailys (sp ?) 117 days adift... great turtle recipies and fish
eye coktails... :-)
The 'strange last voyage of Donald Crowhurst' - again (sp ?) //
sorry :-) ... splelling was never my strong point....
A voyage for madmen (forgot the author, but links Moitisierre,
Crowhurst, Knox etc...) good stuff. !
Bill n Laurel Cooper... !!! how on earth could I forget them first
time round, my original inspiration 15 years ago prior to pensions
and benefits lol :-) !!!!!!
I have read loads more, but cant remember the titles.. it's like
someone telling a funny story.. it triggers others, sometime you
think the stroy you re-heard was the funniest ever, or the best
ever, but it often changes.. reading can oft' tell the underlying
mood me thinks...
:-)
