As the proud owners of a new FP Belize, we can vouch for the roominess of
the boat. We had 12 people besides ourselves for a day say a few weeks ago
and felt none of the "coziness" we experienced with the FP Athena (38 ft)
and eight people on charter a year ago. The crews quarters all the way
forward in both hulls make excellent play rooms or even full-time cabins for
young children. Best of all, it sails quite nicely.

that I have ever been on. Steps where needed, wide passages, nice
    staterooms.

just came out with their 440, which they are advertising as a good
short-handable boat...course all of this is going to depend on your
available budget, but these boats have most living space in the hulls, which
is more desireable for blue water. Good luck!
