I think that any structure that fails is not strong enough. If the boat had
been in the water 30 more minuets I think the keel would have dropped off
and she would have sunk. More then that, other boats did survive the storm
with less significant damage. All in all I wasn’t too unhappy to be on the
deck of something larger for the next storm.
