What about the Westsail 32? Certainly stable and given that most come
loaded with cruising equipment, it makes it easier to find a pretty good
    deal.

Been a long time since I posted to this or any other
list although I read when I can.

Looks like the time for the boat is getting shorter
but the size of the boat may also be getting smaller
since the financial reserves are also looking in that
    same direction.

The question is: what boats are out there in the 30 to
33 or 35 ft category that are full keel or full with
cutaway, deep bilges, tanks in the bilge with some
more roome for storeage, a separate shower stall even
if it is small (or has room for one), and is stable
(very important), with at least a cutter rig? Some
that come to mind these days are the Baba, Hans
Christian and perhaps a Valiant with the Union Polaris
and Tayanna coming in a bit larger and also more $.
Obviously, we are looking in the double end category
and would consider looking at something in the cutter,
yawl, ketch rig category as well. We'd like to find a
great, old, "needy" HC38T but that may well be wishful
thinking the way things are and have been going.

What say you all? Is there some other boat that I
    haven't thought of?

    Thanks.

    =====
    Lynn
