    Robert, if you find two let me know...<smile> I have the metal bracket
    that the log head bolts to, but I do not have the round bayonet-mount. On
    my log, there is supposed to be a round fitting bolted to the yacht, and
    then the bracket has a sort of bayonet mount into this fitting. The head
    (dial) of the log is bolted to the bracket.

    I ended up bolting the bracket directly to my deck, and to remove the log
    I have to undo the bolt under the dial head.

    I mention this only because it may serve as an adequate work-around for
    you too.
