Hi Geza
You would be to early for the pacific crossing.
There are no cyclone in the east pacific so leaving Panama in Dec Jan is a
problem as you have to keep away from Tahiti until after April to avoid the
Southern Summer.
Usual time is to leave Panama in feb or March. This allow time to cruise
Polynesia. But you could leave as late as July/August. You should be in NZ
before November.
I left CT (USA) in April to get to Panama before June to avoid the
Hurricanes. I left Panama in July and left Tahiti on Oct 31st and arrive
Australia in Early December but I had to dodge two cyclones.
You should allow some "cruising" time to allow for repairs
as something always goes wrong.
