    I've had the heavy anodized aluminum Calphalon cookware aboard for a dozen
    years or more. It works well and stands up to the environment. My wife
    would prefer something less heavy...and she does 90 percent of the galley
    work.

    I'd stay away from enamel over iron, like Le Creuset. If and when I change
    away from the Calphalon, it will be to stainless steel.
