Bob,
Good Old Boat had an article a couple years back on
the Columbia 28, where she was called a good
comfortable coastal cruiser, but no world girdler. We
had a 28 for a couple years and loved her. But, I'd
not venture too far offshore.
We've been out in 10-foot waves on Lake Erie with
ours, and never felt out of control, but it's not an
ocean boat. Oh, I know, many have gone to sea with
lesser craft, but why?
