Bob Manry was a reporter for a Cleveland newspaper when he built
Tinkerbelle and then sailed her across the Atlantic in the early to mid
60's.
After completing the voyage, he returned to work and died within about 10
years.
Don't remember how he died, but looking back, not getting back to sea may
have had something to do with it.
Over the years, Tinkerbelle fell into a serious state of disrepair and
was almost a derelict when discovered by Manry's son a few years ago.
It is my understanding that he has Tinkerbelle is back in the Cleveland
area and is now being or has been restored by a local museum.
