For a good read, you might consider "Tinkerbelle" -- a 13'er that sailed
across the Atlantic. I've only recently skimmed my copy (just last
night) and recalled it as a good read from many years ago. Briefly, the
end offers his supply list, upgrades he did -- oh, and construction of
the cabin is shown too.
This was a 'regular joe' without a Rockefeller bankroll who made his
dream come true. In my edition there are a couple of sections of
photographs. (Note to book buyers: not always, but often enough to be
problematic, books when reissued as paperbacks lose the photographs.
You'll find this true in Daniel Gallery's in particular so if you want
pictures....)
It's quite a good read about following your dreams whilst ON A BUDGET.
