    I would go with a two-stroke Yamaha. They're a good engine, quiet,
    and very economical to run. They also don't weigh a ton and are a
    lot cheaper to buy. I'd get a rope pull-start engine just for
    simplicity and weight.

    You also might consider a little Mercury two-stroke. They're cheaper
    than Yamaha and, possibly, less attractive to thieves. And if it is
    stolen, you're not out as much $.

    Just my opinion. I could be wrong!
