While I have not yet cruised since my husband and I
have not yet gotten our boat so I suppose I might be
missing some important bit of information, I think it
is Conor who must be trying to be funny. Yes, I would
like to hang out in secluded bays on remote islands.
However, I wouldn't knowingly jump in the water with a
hungry salt water croc which, I think, is,
essentially, what Conor is advocating. Yes, piracy
happens. Not often to cruisers but it does happen. Why
would anyone knowingly put themselves and their family
in jeporady when it is not necessary and apparently
advocate others to do the same is beyond me. I guess
it is a case of whatever floats your boat, or doesn't.
