I've read these responses with quite a bit of
interest. I knew the U.S. was deporting people now and
then but I had no idea there were so many. I also knew
there was a gang problem especially in the large
cities but I had no idea that illegals or legals were
such a large part of that. Or, did I just read that
into the post? I also had no idea that there was so
much violence. I guess I've gotten used to the travel
commercials and just thought that it was all so great.
I think my eyes have been opened a bit.
Now that Ive said all that, isn't there some place
there that a cruiser could go on Jamiaca and not have
to be bothered with all the violence and yet not stay
within the confines of the resorts? I think I just
read something about that in that some have problems
and others don't. Where are they going when they don't
have problems and where are they going when they sem
to have problems?
Now, next question I'd like to ponder is how does this
situation on Jamaica effect the rest of the carribean?
Is the same condition now having it's effect for the
same reasons everywhere?
