Hi Jorge,
Thanks for posting. You live in an area that I hope to
visit one day. Part of my dream is to sail around the
cape West to East. When that time comes, I will be
quite interested in knowing all about the weather
patterns, etc.
When you were in Belgium did you sail much? Where?
Just curious. I haven't been to Belgium either but it
is another of many countries I hope to some day visit
when I can cast off the lines here. Have been to
Mexico though, although not on a boat. Drove down as
far as Ensenada and took a bus trip down that way too.
A nice country that I would like to know and
experience more.
Back to the topic. I'm assuming that it is not
necessary to have insurance to get medical care there
and that the costs you have given are "out of pocket"
expenses. They don't seem too excessive but I have
heard of lower rates in other parts of the world
although the difference in care might be different
too.
