Hi Bob,
Thanks for posting. It's really great to hear from people outside the
U.S. as it is from those inside. I hope that you will post more often
and let us know how cruising things are going in your corner of the
world. We just heard from Jorge about Argentina too and I hope we
hear more about that part of the world. While it is getting cold here
in the U.S., it is getting warm in the southern hemisphere and areas
close to the equator and, I would think, cruising activities there,
no matter how limited, would be of interest to those who follow the
sun. In fact, the limitations would possibly attract some cruisers to
that area.
Thanks for reminding us of how others in this world pay for their
email. _Many_ on the list have never experienced that or don't think
about it when they post. We've now gotten used to the speed and
further convenience of cable modems and DSL and may not remember the
pay by the minute dial up connections of only about 5 or 10 years ago
or less. The "send" button gets clicked before we/they think about it.
When posting, _please_ cut out that part of the post that does _not_
apply to your answer before you click on the send button. Think
before you click. Bob and many others around the world will thank you
for doing so. In response to your thoughtfulness, they may then be
able to post on their own and not just be able to "listen".
Thanks for your patience. Please keep the great cruising information
from around the world coming to the list.
