Recently there was a thread about ham licensing and
now the thread on weather Fax. I fall into the the
group that is getting interested in HF communication
and still don't know much about what it _really_ takes
to get into it aside from a license to use it and some
"unknown" equipment. What, pray tell, is the equipment
I would need to get into this area or, should I just
go to the store and take their word that whatever they
say is what I need? I'm _not_ real happy with the
latter so I hope you can give me some good info on the
former including ballpark costs if possible; boat and
land. While it is too late for Santa to bring this
year, it's never too early to start planning for next year.
