HF WeFax is not a strong signal, really. But your major problem is noise
around you--your computer, your neighbors, motors running in the
neighborhood, cars with bad ignitions, bad fluorescent ballasts, the list is
endless ashore. Even in harbors, you get a lot of interference.

However, at sea or around the islands away from towns, we've always found HF
    WeFax reception to be good.

The satellite products are good, but you'll need special receivers and
antennas. Pretty pricey for the subscription, too.

Have you tried an external antennae on your Sanguen?
