In case anyone may have missed my earlier post I will repeat it here.
It seems that there are quite a few people who will inevitably cruise
without insurance, therefore diligence and knowledge will play a big
part in maintaining good health. IAMAT can play a useful role in that
program. Did I say it is free? A good org. supported by donations.

I would suggest, as a reasonable precaution while
    abroad, a membership in IAMAT.
    International Association for
    Medical Assistance to Travelers

IAMAT is a non-profit organization established in
1960. Our aim is to advise travelers about health
risks, the geographical distribution of diseases
    worldwide, immunization requirements for all
countries, and to make competent medical care
available to travelers by western-trained doctors who
speak English besides their mother tongue.

    http://www.iamat.org/
It is very inexpensive to join and making a small
donation helps to keep the research going. You need
not join at all to use the web site. Very informative.
