[world-cruising] Ham licenses and hardware

I was just doing some list maintenance and doing some thinking at the
same time when a question popped into my head.

Is the ham license and radio hardware interchangable between the boat
and land or is it something that is for use in one place or the
other? Is it even possible to get the radio and move it between the
house and boat? Does this sound reasonable or not?

    Thanks.

    Rick
