    Thanks to all who responded. If there are any more experiences out
    there, we'd like to hear from you too. A person can't have too much
    information from those who have or are experiencing it. We're putting
    together a list of questions to approach the doctor with this week.
    Hopefully, all will be well.

    I think now we are concerned with the cost of eventual
    surgery/recovery and how insurance programs/medicare (if it's that
    far away) will handle this. Unless it is a fast acting condition, I
    doubt that we will have the same insurance as we now do since it is
    employment related. I would suppose this would now be a pre-existing
    condition and any other insurance company would weasel out of paying.
    Any experience out there in the medical insurance/supplemental
    insurance realm?
