    Thanks for the post. When the time comes for us to head off, I've
    been wondering if the electronic stuff will be on board or not. Cost
    is one consideration for that and just the bit that it is one more
    thing to break and require fixing. Also, there is the windows
    platform vs anything else issue. I broke the windows habit some years
    ago and don't want to go back. Are there any electronic charting,
    etc. systems out there for Mac and, say, Linux? Are the costs now
    starting to come down out of the "stratosphere" the way they have
    with GPS?
