    I don't know much about HVAC system but I've done a lot of research
    recently on power generation.

    Depending on your power requirements, some newly available generator
    types may be of interest. One is the external combustion engine,
    which is both very efficient, can be used for heating & producing
    hot water and also extremely quiet.
