<What do you think of Lagoon?>

No first hand experience of Lagoon.
Most of the stock boats seem to me to be squeezing too much into too small a boat and then they have to put big rigs on them to get the performance they should have. The French ones seem to be generally a bit better in this regard.
    Things to look for.
displacement length ratio. Loaded with your cruising gear!
A quick check is length wl x hull breadths wl x draft x 0.6 will give you a rough idea of displacement.
Total width at least 0.5 length.
Bruce no. 1.2 a dog in light airs. 3= a handfull.
    Bridge deck clearance.Loaded!
Bridge deck starts well aft of the bows.
Bow shape. A bit of flare helps keep you dry.
    Cockpit shelter.
Centreboards if you want to go to windward.
    Retractable rudders.
Roller furling jib/screacher or at least hanks rather than foils.
Lazy jacks full length battens and slides on the main. Bolt ropes are a nightmare getting the main down on your own.
Control lines always usable from the windward side. Should be able to let go sheets no matter which side of the cockpit you are sitting.
    No big windows facing forward.
Netting or mesh forward. Solid decks or tramps can make you airborne.
    Strong cleat and winch attachments.
Well engineered joints between hull and bridge deck.
Could go on, but Chris Whites book on multis gives a good idea of what to look for and explains all the numbers.
