    Speaking of battery chargers,

I remember seeing an ad once for a combination wind and trailing log
    charger.
One could dismount it from it's short mast, remove the blades, affix
the cable connector to the shaft, mount said charger on the stern rail
and train a "log" with a prop on it for long stretches of downwind
    running.
The prop would spin the log which would in turn spin the charger's
    shaft.

Unfortunately I didn't keep the magazine and have lost the ad.

Now, does anyone know of a source for these ?
    Manufacture's name / Model name ?

    Thanks in advance
    Dave J (the S/V StarShine)
