I've just added yet another quite interesting link to the links
section of the site web page
(http://groups.yahoo.com/group/world-cruising/links). If you haven't
found this section yet, you might want to take a look. There is quite
a bit of good info referenced there.
This latest link is to Trish Lambert's page
(http://www.takehersailing.com/). She has been cruising on and off
for 20 years and writes from the woman's point of view. If you're
male and wondering how the spouse or significant other might react to
cruising, she may have information to assist you. If you're cruising
and having second thoughts about cruising or are the one that thinks
cruising might not be for you, this site might well be of interest.
If you're new to cruising or boating in general and think you might
want to go cruising, I think you'll find her writing will hold
something for you also. In addition, she incorporates articles from
other people who also have experience "out there" and with
maintenance, etc. and who are posting on this and other lists.
There's a lot on the site (including a _free_ enewsletter) and it is
being expanded and updated frequently. Of course, as with most
everything, this is my opinion and YMMV.
Rick
