The advice to look up realty.com is really pretty good for getting some
ideas of cost of living. They have calculators there that will help you
figure out how much money you would need to live at the same standard you
live at now in another location. I don't think it includes Canada but helps
compare most cities in the US. Helped me a lot when I needed to negotiate
salaries in a new city and didn't know the cost of living increase. Good
