Thanks for the info. The cold, or lack of it, does mean a lot to me.
I grew up in Southern Indiana where it got down to 20 degrees (F)
below zero and spent a few years in the Michigan Upper Peninsula
where after getting home from work at night, I couldn't find my car
in the driveway the next morning. Just a lot of snow. So, when I
think of snow, I largely think of 20 or 30 degrees (F) below and
shovelling a _lot_ of snow. Warmth sounds a _lot_ better.
OTOH, if prices are low enough and other things are met, it might
become something along the lines of how much snow is too much snow.
Still, we'd have to get out in it to go shopping and such and, as age
increases, that would be much more difficult. It _is_ something to
consider though.
