(I wouldn't dump where a can would be visible to a diver.)
Though now that I think more of it, I think at least aluminum cans
should be returned to shore... a lot of electricity is used to purify
aluminum, and it seems like a shame to 'waste' the power. Besides,
aluminum is easily recyclable is many places these days.
