Except for organics (food) I see no reason why ALL trash cannot be returned
to shore. It's an obligation to those that follow behind....
I read this past week on www.msnbc.com about research Cousteau's son is
doing on a remote island chain in the Pacific. The floatsum and garbage were
appalling in both quantity and variety.
For me, diving down and seeing an old can on the seabed, well, I just plain
don't like it. Sinking alone isn't enough.
