Steve,
The plastic bucket routine will be something that I eventually take
into account then. May not be the best way for us but it is certainly
a way. Time will tell.
Varnishing the cans? That's a new one for me. Don't see any reason
why it wouldn't work though.
I might have missed it but are you building your own steel boat or
having it built professionally (I'm presuming you are not a
profession steel boat builder.)? It's something I am starting to
research seriously an am interested in "speaking" with those who do
it professionally. I just can't see myself building a good steel boat
myself when I, currently, do not know how to weld and would have to
learn that first not to mention a whole host of other things specific
to steel building I'm sure.
