New here... want to leave after the hurricane season to the
islands.......have learned to sail in the last seven months....own a
1982...28 ft sloop, new lines, good rigging's, new rudder, old yanmar, back
up sails, and a few green backs in my pocket. (2k). and provisions on board.
Do you think I could make do for a couple of years if I drink rum instead of
beer? Also is it best to take my own woman...or are there extra island girls
to party with once there? And if Grenada is the spice island...can I find
onions, bell peppers and celery to make seafood gumbo with? Other than
dollars...what is the best trade items to have for exchange for grog? Last
but not least have I forgot to think of anything?
