Yesterday I found a very interesting web site created by a sailor who
is circumnavigating and creating a documentary video diary along the
way. It begins with his search for a cruising boat last fall and
follows him into the yard to prepare the boat for the trip. The
sailor, Alex, is a film school graduate so the quality of the site
and videos is extraordinary. I think everyone will enjoy it.

The trip started in May, from Connecticut, and his current position
    is somewhere in Chesapeake Bay.

    Here's the link:

PS: navigating the site is easy, but finding the videos takes a bit
of effort. Click on the picture of Alex that has a caption
of "download player". At first I thought it was to download media
player software, but it's actually the footage. There were about
five or six videos when I last checked.

PPS: his choice of boats indicates this fellow knows what he's doing!

    Regards,

    Louis
