This group, which I don't consider very active is the most active of
these groups.
The others I get on Yahoo in addition to this one are the
world_women_cruisers@XXX.XXX
ChesapeakeCruising@XXX.XXX (both of these have sporadic
activity)
SafeCruising@XXX.XXX and the workaboard group which is so
inactive that I don't have the address in my address book anymore.
And SafeCruising is just about totally inactive also.
I don't go to the website to get email as a general rule and I'm not
familiar with Yahoo mail. Are there restrictions on what kind of
email that you can get on Yahoo mail?
In addition to those Yahoo groups I am subscribed to a CSY list on
Topica - there are other lists on Topica which I belong to but they
are not sailing lists. And there are two stand-alone lists which I'm
familiar with - one is YachtL and the other is the live-aboard list.
There are many lists on various types of sailboats like the one for
CSY, and there are trawler lists and various other kinds of boating
lists, and some bulletin boards for which you would need web access.
But all of the lists I've given are email lists.
