Sunglasses should have polarized lens and 100% UV
protection. More importantly is sunblock. While good
glasses protect the eyes, what are you doing to
protect your skin? I worked for a melanoma doctor for
years. Sun protection is serious stuff. Sailors are
especially vulnerable to skin cancer. Use anything
above spf 15 (I prefer spf 30) and apply every couple
of hours, wear hats and don't forget to apply lotion
to your ears!
