bull. I did very much the same thing but using a .22. bullet went right through.
you guys are missing the point. namely that while pound for pound glass boats are stronger, steel boats have a minimum plate thickenss that can be effectively welded and thus are build way over strong for their size. There are also heavier for their size.
Theory aside, glass boats simply aren't built as strong because they don't -- usually -- need to be, and when they are built as strong they are VERY expensive.
Steel boat weigh more. Now, feel better?
