Mike and I have been livingaboard and cruising together for almost 15 years.
We have both enjoyed almost every minute of it. Being in the pacific
northwest, the winters sometime get a bit long and we get in each others
space. I really don't believe there are any more barriers to women enjoying
the cruising life than there are for men. Maybe one: most women like a bit
of elegant ambiance to their space. It would be boring to me to cruise
alone, and frankly, I couldn't do all of the work that a 40 foot boat
requires.
