When a couple acquires a boat and decides to go cruising. The one
thing the husband needs to do is FORGET the me Captain and you Crew
routine... It is a partnership on the boat each relying on the other.
and a daily routine should be setup.... half work day on Wednesdays
and Saturdays. And a fun day on Sunday. Watches do have to be stood
on these days... but aside of mutual cleanup of the dishes... these
days should be used to enjoy life together by various activities that
are uplifting and sometimes just plain silly. Such as act out a play
together or do a duets. If you have kids along, the entertainment
can be all inclusive. But getting away from the daily maintenance
routine, helps in the moral of everyone on board... This is one
place where control freaks need not apply. LOL
And if you can slip in some laugher in the work days, they will go by
faster.
