Head to your local library and get into the cruising section. The more you
read the better off you will be.
However the most important thing is try it out before you invest any money in
a boat. Charter with crew and attend sailing classes. There are hundreds of
stories of people that were capured by the romance of cruising that invested
lots in a boat with out trying it first to see if they like it.
