Quite right! Not that I want to spend all day talking about guns on boats, but
I do think there should be a forum to discuss whatever issues are on peoples
minds, so I was going to set up a new list called world-cruising-guns :) ,.....
but I guess you're right. This list is unmoderated and already has some
subscribers, so why bother. <BR>

Now...... about my question of last week, does anybody have any experience
dealing with foreign officials who come across one's line launcher (the shotgun
variety - not the gas powered kind)? In some countries (most???) I think
line-launchers may be specifically exempt from firearms regulations. One person
on rec.boats.cruising said they had never had a problem but did not really
elaborate. I'm specifically interested in personal experiences in various
locales.<BR>
