Last spring at the Nauticat Rendzvous in Port Ludlow, WA I met Paul and Emily
Keller on their Nauticat 38. Paul retired at 64 and soon afterward married Emily
who was only 59. They spent the next 20 odd years sailing around the world with
some great side trips including the US East Coast - Great Lakes - Gulf of Mexico
circuit. Now in their 80s, Emily says they have "swallowed the anchor" and have a
condo in Oregon, but are still sailing the Northwest. They have written (and
illustrated) three books about their adventures.
Mary and I intend to do the same on DENALI, our Nauticat 40.
