Daniel,
I am 65 and during the last two years I sailed from the Mediterranean to
Australia on an old 36 footer boat, most of the way single handed. In
American Samoa I met a 67 old English sailor, sailing a 47 footer catch
with one crew.
A few years ago I read an article in the Yachting World about a
single-hander over the 70. He sailed from Australia to England around
Africa.
