Went there this past summer . Easy trip. Went on the bank at a point just
north of the remains of the visible wreck . There's also a place to enter
easily south of there as shown on the Maptech chart kit . East of Meeks
Patch the water begins to get kinda skinny . The easiest entry to the
moorings to the east of Spanish Wells in to enter thru the channel between
Russel and Charles Islands . There was some dredging going on there and I
didn't see a good place to anchor, so took a mooring for 3 days ( $ 10 per
day when I was there in June ).
