Bill Dietrich, has recently added some new info to the world-cruising
links page. He must be a bit bashful since he wanted to just let you
all find it but, I've only started to take a look at it and thought
I'd take a minute to let you all know it is there.
It's a big site with lots of his own information and links to other
people's sites. His information was geared toward retirement but they
apply to any stage of life. For the people who don't yet have a boat
I think this is a must see. For those that do have a boat but aren't
sure they would like to cruise or if there is someone in the family
that is not quite sure about cruising, this is also a must see. For
those of you who are on the path toward cruising it might well serve
as a good checklist of things you might want to consider. For those
out cruising, it might well make the experience better. At least that
is what _I_ think of it and I have only _just_begun_ to read the site
and follow its links to other people's experiences.
We've certainly gotten off to a great start with information on the
links site. There are a lot of good experiential stories linked there
as well as some very good information for you all to think about and
apply if you wish. As usual, YMMV. Sometimes things work out and
sometimes they don't. You make the decision as to whether to follow
the info or not.
