Dear Mates:
The same regulations apply in this part of South America (Argentina & Uruguay). Before I leave the Marina (in Buenos Aires) for a short hop accross the River Plate to Punta del Este or Montevideo I must file a " rol " or a flight plan with the name of the boat, and all members on board ( my cat is excluded). If you plan to do costal cruising then better take a few photocopies of same because in each port you visit, you must leave one with the local Coast Guard. Best regards to all of you out there
