 Hi Group...

I just joined moments ago... but I'll introduce myself....

I'm a 45 y/o male... divorced and with no kids.... I am a professional Paramedic/Firefighter and have been for over 20 years. I have my Advanced Class Ham Radio License and an HF and 2 Meter radio. The HF rig is intended to be used compactly and is relatively easy to mount onboard a vessel.... the 2 meter is handheld. I am PADI Open Water Diver Certified and was WSI years ago.

I do not have a boat... but dad had a Pearson 365 Ketch growing up and while in college and afterwards.... I enjoyed crewing for him to Central America, the Bahamas and the Florida Keys as we lived in Key West and Port Charlotte, Florida.

I also enjoyed crewing onboard sailing yachts as we delivered them from Florida to the British Virgin Islands for their owners. I taught sailing to the Boy Scouts' "Sea Scouts" in the Florida Keys out of Islamorada/Key Largo area.

I live in the country near Seattle... it's rainy and cold here now... but the summers are wonderful as Puget Sound is a great place to cruise and explore.... esp. the San Juan Islands!!

If anyone would like an experienced crew member... with emergency medical equipment and expertise, Ham Radio capabilities, SCUBA, etc.... just let me know!!....

Tambien!!....

If you are delivering... or just need another crew member... I can fly there and will pay airfare... My work schedule is VERY flexible... (we work 8-9 days per month with 24 hr shifts.... vacation and "trading" makes for a sweet extended and frequent getaway!!).

Email or IM me and we can "talk"... IF anyone is interested... I don't want to appear presumptuous here.... I just love sailing... and adventure!!

"I did not wish to take a cabin passage, but rather to go before the mast and

on the deck of the world, for there I could best see the moonlight amid the

mountains. I do not wish to go below now."

 Henry David Thoreau
