I don't think the Med is very warm in winter. I'd find somewhere further
south to overwinter.
At least the Southern Med. Coast.

The holiday season has gotten me to wonder about wintering over in
other places in the world. After all, if we sail far afield, either
we leave the boat some place and return, we stay with the boat for
the winter, or just keep sailing towards warmer places. My thoughts
  turned to the Mediterranean.

I was just wondering, what was the approximate monthly cost of
wintering over in the Med with the boat, say, 4 or 5 years ago as
opposed to last year or this year? What is the projection on costs
for next year and say 4 or 5 years from now? Has the Euro made any
difference in costs? Has the EU requirement made any differences?
Anybody out there with any information about this?

For now, just an inquiring mind thinking and planning.

  Thanks.

  Rick
