Subject: [world-cruising] Cruising costs [WAS: Costs associated with wintering in the Med?]

Good one, Rick! Very interested to see replies to this.
Actually, we too are looking hard at money issues for our world cruising and
would love to hear how all the cruisers out there do their budgeting ... if
you are a "small" budget, what does that mean over a period of 6 months or a
year? What about if you consider yourself livering "moderately", what does
that include and what sort of annual cost? Maybe reports should include:
Cruising area
Boat size
Living standard - simple, moderate, or high
Entertainment
Food and cleaners (basic living costs)
Maintenance
Period of assessment
We've read stuff on the web and in books, but it seems to me that so much of
it includes stuff we wouldn't do much of. I'd love to hear it from people
who are out there right now! :-)
I'll change the subject line so that people can answer Rick's question under
his subject, and this one under a different heading. Less confusing for
those of us with Senior Moments, like me! Har!
Richest blessings,
Jodie Holloway (South Africa)

Christmas came AFTER the Lord Jesus Christ.
Let's KEEP it that way!
